Hi, I'm Harb Gill

A LIFE OF SERVICE

With nearly 3 decades of experience as a police officer in both Toronto and LaSalle, I’ve spent my career serving and protecting our community.

In addition to my practical experience, I hold a Double Honours Degree in Criminology and Sociology, along with a background as a Civil Engineer. This unique combination of education and real-world experience has given me the skills to tackle complex issues and find solutions that work for people.

Having worked in both the public and private sectors, I understand the immense challenges facing hard-working Canadians.

Now, I’m running to bring a fresh perspective to Ottawa—focused on improving affordability, safety, and opportunities for everyone in Windsor West. We need to put Windsor West First and Canada First.

People are right to be cautious about political promises. But this election is about more than words—it’s about securing a better future. Families are struggling with the rising cost of living, safety concerns, and access to healthcare. It’s time for leadership that listens, acts, and delivers real results. Let’s work together to build a future where everyone can thrive.

Time for Change

  • Good Jobs & Strong Economy

    • Housing Affordability: Introduce a "build more, get more" initiative, helping cities increase housing construction by 15% annually.

    • Support for Skilled Trades and Manufacturing: Cut unnecessary barriers and create well-paying jobs in trades and manufacturing.

  • Safe Streets & Communities

    • Smart, Effective Crime Prevention: Strengthen law enforcement efforts while investing in community programs that help prevent crime before it starts.

  • Lower Cost of Living

    • Tax Relief: Implement the "Bring It Home Tax Cut," reducing personal income taxes so families keep more of what they earn.

    • Affordable Housing: Remove GST on new homes under $1.39 million to help make homeownership more accessible.

  • Fix Health Care

    • Increased Health Transfers: Boost the annual growth rate of the Canada Health Transfer to at least 6%, directing nearly $60 billion into healthcare over the next decade.

    • Mental Health and Addictions Support: Strengthen mental health and addictions services to provide better care where it's needed most.
